Alpine Trail E1

The Alpine Trail E 1 doesn’t cut corners, it carves them. Both X-Fusion’s Vengeance HLR fork and H3A HLR shock make fine-tuning your dampers bliss, thanks to quick air spring and high- and low-speed compression and rebound adjustments. Pumping out 170mm of travel, the fork is perfectly fettled for our 160mm travel MultiTrac 2 LT suspension system. It’s a pairing that hits way above its weight class.

Purpose-built for eMTB, Shimano's CUES LINKGLIDE 10-speed drivetrain has wider tooth profiles and optimized chain design to handle serious motor torque. Brake late and hard or feather your speed with TRP's DHR EVO Comp brakes – they’ve got masses of power, excellent modulation and impressive heat management. Customize the bike’s fit with the travel-adjustable TranzX dropper. Our redesigned wheels are built tougher than ever and have a tire-stabilizing 29mm internal width. The Alpine Trail has evolved. Now with cleaner integration, Bosch’s latest motor and a slimmed-down look, it’s 3lb (1,345g) lighter. We kept what worked, and improved what mattered. Optimized tube shapes, a redesigned rocker link and brand-new chainstays add up to impressive savings.

The real magic is in what we didn't sacrifice – the frame is burlier and more capable than before while being lighter and sleeker. It wouldn’t be a Series 4 Aluminum frame without weather-sealed internal cable routing, SRAM’s UDH, Boost axle spacing and chunky chainstay protection. Three sets of bottle bosses inside the front triangle give you the flexibility to fit a bottle, tools, tubes or a PowerMore range extender. Big senders assemble – there’s now 37mm more ground clearance for the wildest descents and monster hucks.

Lock in your personal set-up with adjustable geometry. Swap out the upper headset cup for ±0.75-degrees of adjustment – go slack for fast descents or steepen it up for tight tech. Chainstay flip chips adjust bottom bracket height and chainstay length to find your sweet spot and own it. Mixed wheels – 29in up front, 27.5in out back – beautifully combine stability and agility.

The MultiTrac 2 LT suspension system balances progression, support and suppleness. Whether you’re railing berms, hunting for traction or just sending it to flat, the design’s neutral predictability has your back.
