Meet the Bobcat Trail: Artist Edition. Designed by London street artist Thumbs – his bold, chaotic, nostalgia-soaked style has earned him fans worldwide. Inspired by cartoons, graffiti, tattoo culture, retro Americana – it's all in there – his art is rendered in thick lines, bright colours and the kind of hand-drawn energy that makes you stop and stare.

He grew up riding BMX and skating, and worked in a West London skate and bike shop, where the graphics on decks and frames first sparked something. Getting to design a Marin – a brand he used to sell – is, in his words, a full circle moment.

Thumbs didn't just slap a design on the Bobcat Trail, he went deep. The electric yellows and cobalt blues are a deliberate echo of a vintage 1990 Team Marin colorway – researched, chosen and applied with intention. Everything on this frame is hand-drawn. The chequered flags across the head tube nod to Marin's place in mountain bike racing history. Redwood trees wrap around the bottom bracket as a tribute to Marin County, California. A subtle outline of the Marin County mountain peaks hides on the seat tube for those who look close enough.

And then there are the Easter eggs. Personal nods to music, tattoo culture and urban art scattered across the frame – hidden details that reward the curious. But we're not telling you where they are. That's the point. Bold, bright, a little rough around the edges. Exactly the way he likes it. Exactly the way Marin likes it too.
