Midweek commute, weekend adventures. No problem for the Marin Four Corners, our steel-framed explorer that's as comfortable on the asphalt as in the dirt.
A double-butted 4130 CrMo steel frame and fork are designed to be comfortable on rough roads and handle fully loaded-touring and bikepacking. We've included six bottle mounts, rack and fender eyelets, lowrider fork mounts, generous tire clearance, and disc brakes to set you up for all conditions and all terrain.
Don't be fooled; that classic frame material doesn't mean low-tech. We've used biometric fit data to offer five different frame sizes, with size-matched 650b or 700C wheels to suit riders between 4'11 perfectly" – 6'4". A high front end creates all-day comfort and heads-up visibility; off-road-ready geometry means you won't skip a beat when you head off the asphalt and explore Beyond Road.
New for '24, the Four Corners 2 takes all the elements that make the Four Corners fantastic and adds a Series 3 double-butted CrMo frameset, a simpler, wide-range SRAM 1x12 speed Apex drivetrain, and matching, powerful Apex 1 hydraulic disc brakes. The rubber meets the road/path/trail with wider, 44mm Vee Tire Quickstyx tubeless-compatible tires, and the frame can accept tires up to 50mm wide.

Technology
FIVE FRAME SIZES
The Four Corners is available in five frame sizes to fit riders 4’11 to 6’4” without compromise. For proper fit and bike handling sizes XS and S use 650B wheels, sizes M, L, and XL use 700C.
BOTTLE / GEAR MOUNTS
Fork leg bottle or accessory cage mounts on the Four Corners, along with and abundance of gear mounts within the front triangle, mean that you can carry pretty much anything you want.
TALL HEADTUBES
The Four Corners is built around a tall headtube, allowing for more frame carrying capacity (larger bags), great rider visibility for taking in the sights, as well as the ability to utilize the multiple positions on the drop bars for all-day comfort.
DISC BRAKES
Disc brakes provide smooth, controlled stopping in all conditions with minimal maintenance. Especially important when riding a fully loaded bike.
STEEL IS REAL
The Four Corners 1 uses butted and formed Series 1 4130 CrMo frames and CroMo forks specially tuned for loaded touring with upright geometry for comfortable and efficient all-day rides.
Step up to the Four Corners 2 and you'll get a Series 3 frame with double butted tubing and thru-axles.
GENEROUS TIRE CLEARANCE
The Four Corners 1 can accommodate tires up to 45mm wide, while the Four Corners 2 will accept up to 50mm wide tires.
Dropper Post Compatible
The Four Corners offers a port on the lower part of the seat tube, allowing the installation of an aftermarket dropper post. Droppers are great at adding clearance when riding technical trails, or for simply putting a foot down while stopped at a light.
Reviews
Marin has elevated the Four Corner’s reputation as a reliable, comfortable, easy-to-kit-out, do-it-all bikepacking and touring-oriented gravel bike.
