2017 Pine Mountain Fork Recall

It came to the attention of Marin Mountain Bikes, Inc. that the rigid front forks on these recalled bikes can bend or break during use, posing fall and crash hazards to the user.

Pine Mountain models with suspension forks are NOT affected.

Although Marin has received no reports of any injuries, out of an abundance of caution, we undertook a voluntary recall with the US Consumer Product Safety Commission “CPSC” and Health Canada. The CPSC recall notice can be seen at https://cpsc.gov/Recalls/2017/Marin-Mountain-Bikes-Recalls-Bicycles.

For Canadian consumers and dealers, please find a link to the Canadian recall notice at http://healthycanadians.gc.ca/recall-alert-rappel-avis/hc-sc/2017/62822r-eng.php.

Customers outside of North America with these recalled models should contact the Marin distributor or local retailer in their country.
