Marin Updates Nicasio Lineup
New Nicasio 1, Nicasio+ and Welcome Nicasio ST to the Marin Family
Marin has launched updated versions of the evergreen Nicasio 1 and Nicasio+ steel Beyond Road bikes, each with unique features. The Nicasio 1, known for its endurance and versatility, is now joined by the all-new Nicasio ST ("Step-Thru") variant, designed for easy mounting and dismounting. The Nicasio+ offers enhanced performance and comfort, making it a top choice for riding on less-than-ideal surfaces.
The Nicasio is Marin’s unique take on an endurance bike. All models are built upon classic CroMo steel frames, known for both durability and comfort. The classic tubing gives riders a supple yet rugged chassis with ample gear mounts and Beyond Road geometry that’s well-suited to long days in the saddle, short days in the saddle, commuting, paved roads, gravel roads, or just about any path you point it towards.

Nicasio 1
The classic and best-selling Nicasio model debuted in 2017 and has proven to be a capable and affordable bike, smartly spec'd with a smooth-shifting drivetrain and durable components. That basic formula remains with the new Nicasio 1, which now sees gains in tire clearance, with 36mm rubber standard and the ability to run up to 45mm wide tires.

Nicasio ST
The new step-thru variant of the Nicasio 1 features a dropped top tube, making the bike easier to mount or dismount, especially when loaded with cargo or a child seat. The specs carry over from the Nicasio 1, with the same Series 1 CroMo frame tubing, Shimano drivetrain, and Tektro disc brakes. It’s all the fun - just easier to hop aboard.

Nicasio+
The Nicasio+ is our Nic’ with a modern twist, using the same CrMo frame and fork as the Nicasio 1, but switching in large-volume 650 x 47mm rubber and a sleek and straightforward microSHIFT 1x9 speed drivetrain, putting the Nicasio+ squarely into the realm of gravel bikes.
