Marin Updates Rift Zone Lineup

Growing wheel sizes! Fresh colorways! Standard dropper post on the Rifty 1!

Hey! We've given our über-popular Riftys some key updates.

All four models are built upon the same playful Series 3 aluminum MultiTrac frames that debuted two years ago. The critically-acclaimed and best-selling Rift Zones feature 150mm (both RZ XR models) or 140mm (RZ 2, 1 models) front and 130mm rear travel, coupled with contemporary trail geometry, rattle-free internal cable routing with braze-in guides, SRAM T-type compatibility and tough chainstay and seatstay protection. New additions to the line include the models going to a “growing wheel size” strategy, with extra small (RZ 1 only) and small-sized frames rolling exclusively on 27.5” wheels, while large and extra-large frames utilize 29”. Medium riders have their choice of 27.5” or 29” options, which mirrors what has long been offered in Marin’s sport hardtail collections.

The big news for the Rift Zone 1 is adding a dropper post and 1x remote lever, the first such specification has been standard equipment at this level.
